Whaler Camping

We took a slightly different camping trip. We went in our little outboard to a nearby island.



Here's the boat - packed and ready to go. We just threw all our stuff in two big boxes. Because it wasn't in backpacks, we got to bring a couple extra goodies. Oh, Nat doesn't let anyone else drive. And he's a madman at the helm!

Here's our camp. We were the only ones on our island. In fact, all of Casco Bay seems deserted this summer. We saw two other pleasure boats.





We spent a lot of time playing on the beach.






And read some books. Oh, no, Nat! Dada's beer.




This outboard can actually start with a key, but Nat likes to pull-start it with the rope.
